Following a first edition that brought together more than 1,500 participants from nearly 100 countries and generated close to 1,000 B2B business meetings, FrancoTech returns in 2026 to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Join the FGA’s Ontario delegation at FrancoTech 2026, the economic component of the 2026 Francophonie Summit, organized by the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), and take advantage of this international event to explore new markets, build strategic partnerships, and connect with decision-makers, investors and businesses from numerous countries.

As Southeast Asia continues to experience strong economic growth, Cambodia serves as a strategic gateway to a region of more than 680 million consumers.

This initiative is intended for Ontario’s Francophone and bilingual businesses that meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • are led by Francophones;
  • employ French-speaking staff;
  • provide services in French; or
  • serve Francophone clients or markets.

Key Activities

A program filled with business opportunities

November 10–12: Cambodia Cashew and Pepper Trade Forum
Organized by Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union to Cambodia and the Federal Republic of Germany, the Cambodia Cashew and Pepper Trade Forum (CCPTF) is the country’s leading platform for promoting sustainable trade, innovation and investment in the cashew and pepper sectors. The Forum will bring together producers, processors, exporters, investors and development partners to foster meaningful business connections and strengthen the international competitiveness of Cambodian cashew and pepper products.

November 11–14: SIAL Vietnam (Optional Activity)
For companies in the agri-food sector, this visit provides the opportunity to discover one of the region’s largest trade shows and develop business relationships in Vietnam.

November 14–16: Francophonie Village
Discover the economic, cultural, and institutional initiatives showcased during the Francophonie Summit. The Francophonie Village will be held in Phnom Penh. Program details will be announced at a later date.

November 14–15: Francophone Entrepreneurs Meeting (REF)
Organized by the Alliance des Patronats Francophones (APF) in collaboration with the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC).
Take part in a major networking event bringing together entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the Francophone world. The program includes B2B meetings, conferences, panel discussions, and a gala luncheon. Participation is free of charge.

November 15–16: 20th Francophonie Summit
Experience the activities surrounding one of the largest international gatherings of French-speaking nations, hosted in Phnom Penh. Program details will be announced soon.

November 15–16: FrancoTech 2026
FrancoTech brings together governments, businesses, investors, educational institutions, and innovation stakeholders through an Innovation Village, exhibition, panel discussions, B2B meetings, investment sessions, and an innovation competition.

November 16–17: France–Cambodia Business Forum
Organized by the France Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFC) with the support of the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia.
Benefit from a program focused on investment, partnerships, and economic cooperation between France and Cambodia, featuring panel discussions, sector-specific workshops, B2B and B2G meetings, and networking opportunities.

November 17–19 (Optional Activity): Trade Mission to Vietnam
Organized by the France Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFV).
Meet Vietnamese companies and explore business opportunities in one of the region’s most dynamic economies through market presentations, institutional meetings, company visits, networking activities, and an industrial park tour. Participation fee: €450 (excluding VAT) per participant. Airfare and accommodation are not included.

November 18: Study in Europe Fair
Organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Cambodia, the Study in Europe Fair connects Cambodian students with European universities, scholarship opportunities and career pathways. Held in Phnom Penh, the event features university exhibitions, academic exchanges, opportunities to connect with EU businesses, and information sessions on studying and living in Europe.


FrancoTech 2026 Innovation Competition

Eligible digital startups, innovators, developers, R&D teams, technopreneurs and digital solution providers are invited to apply to the FrancoTech 2026 Innovation Competition.

Two award categories are available: Best Digital Innovation Award and Best Women Technopreneurs Award. The three finalists in each category will receive USD 2,000 in travel support to attend the final in Phnom Penh on November 15 and showcase their innovation, with awards valued at up to USD 3,000.

Financial Support – CanExport SMEs

Eligible Canadian SMEs may apply for up to $50,000 in funding for certain international market development activities. The program has its own eligibility requirements.

Join the Ontario Delegation

The FGA is seeking to identify Franco-Ontarian and bilingual businesses interested in expanding their activities internationally.

Whether you are already exporting or looking to diversify your markets, this mission can serve as a strategic opportunity to accelerate your growth and establish new business partnerships.

Submitting an expression of interest enables the FGA to better understand participating companies and prepare a delegation aligned with the mission’s objectives.
