Toronto, June 26, 2024 \u2013<\/b> The F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des gens d\u2019affaires francophones de l\u2019Ontario (FGA) is pleased to announce the official signature of a $500,000 funding agreement over two years with the Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development, and Trade of Ontario (MEDJCT). The ceremony took place today at 10 a.m., in the presence of Caroline Mulroney, Minister of Transportation and Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, and Nina Tangri, Minister of Small Business and Red Tape Reduction.<\/span><\/p>\n

As announced by the Ontario government during the unveiling of the 2024-2025 provincial budget, an additional investment of $6.8 million has been committed for the next two years to support entrepreneurs through Small Business Enterprise Centres (SBECs). As part of this funding, the FGA will receive $500,000 over 2 years to provide additional support to help Ontario\u2019s Francophone entrepreneurs to start and grow their business through dedicated advisory supports, workshops and events.<\/span><\/p>\n

With this investment, we can provide crucial resources and guidance in French, helping our business community innovate, flourish, and contribute significantly to Ontario\u2019s economy.
