Toronto and Montr\u00e9al, March 22, 2024 \u2014\u00a0<\/strong>The F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des chambres de commerce du Qu\u00e9bec (FCCQ) and the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des gens d’affaires francophones de l’Ontario (FGA) are pleased to announce the finalists for the 3rd<\/sup> edition of the Prix du commerce Ontario-Qu\u00e9bec en francophonie.<\/p>\n

Launched at the Grande Rencontre 2021, this award recognizes the excellence of French-speaking companies that are committed to the French language and culture in business, and that have distinguished themselves interprovincially through their significant contribution to increasing trade between Ontario and Quebec. Two awards are presented each year, one to an Ontario company and the other to a Quebec company.<\/p>\n

The Quebec finalists are Les \u00c9quipements Lapierre (Saint-Ludger), Interpr\u00e9tation signes et paroles (Gatineau) and Dieu Du Ciel ! (Montreal).<\/p>\n

The Ontario finalists are Hybrid Power Solutions (Etobicoke), Ori-krea (Toronto) and Escouade multim\u00e9dia (Hawkesbury).<\/p>\n

“Exchanges between the Quebec and Ontario entrepreneurial communities will always be an asset to our interprovincial relations, especially when it comes to Francophone economic relations between Quebec and Ontario. Celebrating business excellence and the French-speaking world is crucial, and we’re proud to be able to count on dynamic companies like these. This third edition cements the importance of this commitment” – Charles Milliard, President and CEO of the FCCQ.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>“The Prix du commerce Ontario-Qu\u00e9bec en francophonie reflects the broad potential of bilateral economic relations between our two provinces, and the role played by the sharing of a common language in establishing trade corridors that can lead to fruitful business relationships. In partnership with the FCCQ, the FGA is proud to organize this contest again this year, which contributes to the development of strong commercial ties between Ontario and Quebec. The winning companies will each receive a $10,000 prize awarded by the FCCQ and the FGA at a ceremony on April 25 during the FGA’s Franco-Ontarian Business Forum in Toronto, Ontario.<\/strong><\/p>\n
